Company law forms a basis for many issues related to law and business. Company law define the rules as to how businesses are formally organized, what kind of responsibility rules that apply, capital demands, how a company is run, and it defines the rules for representation. Steenstrup Stordrange assists within all these areas of company law.

We assist in questions related to company type, compliance with legal demands in relation to day-to-day operations, and corporate transactions that may involve capital expansion, merger, de-mergers, or other forms of takeovers. We also assist in issuing financial instruments and develop corporate solutions adapted to particular needs and questions related to corporate governance.

Company formation. Steenstrup Stordrange offers custom-made solutions and assistance in questions relating to company formation and drawing up corporate documentation. We work closely with different types of advisors and government authorities and may assist in all issues regarding company formation and registration in Norway. We also assist in drawing up shareholders' agreements, joint venture agreements and various other corporate issues.

Private equity transactions. Steenstrup Stordrange assists in all areas of private equity transactions, hereunder new issues or reduction of capital, mergers, de-mergers, transfer of shares and the employment of particular equity instruments. We offer interdisciplinary cooperation with other competence areas to be able to offer services that cover all legal requirements in connection with such transactions.

Good corporate governance. Steenstrup Stordrange assists in establishing systems that secure good standards of corporate governance. We also offer advice on concrete issues relating to this matter.
